Supporting boards in the use of National Standards in the implementation of the NZ Curriculum

GMS has been commissioned to provide further fully funded governance training to schools throughout 2011.  The training can be tailored to your board's requirements.

The topics include:

1. Effective governance - a refresher on the board's role
2. National standards - what is the board's role
3. Planning, reviewing and reporting - the annual plan, setting targets, monitoriing and reporting
4. Strategic planning - developing your Charter
